Seasonal Meats
All our turkeys and geese are bred purely for the Christmas market, using traditional methods rather that the"mass production" seen in supermarkets. They are reared from hatchlings, for a minimum of 26 weeks (supermarkets typically 16-18 weeks). This allows them to develop naturally. All our birds are free range, which means they have the freedom to roam, but also have access to shelter should they prefer. These high standards of animal welfare, coupled with traditional breeding methods result in a far superior end product.
We offer a selection of birds to suit your individual taste, Or if you don't fancy turkey this Christmas, we also offer a wide range of game, including venison from Houghton Hall, pop in to one of our shops, and your local butcher will be happy to discuss your requirements.
